Owasso, Oklahoma's Cub Scout,

On behalf of our Medical Team thank you so much for taking the time to think of others this Holiday season. We received your care package and we accept your donations with a great deal of gratitude. The military is something like the Boy Scouts. We have a leader, we learn different skills, we learn how to work with many different people and our goal is to help others. Your actions show how well your group has grown. I believe in all of you just like you believe in us. Thank you, God Bless and Merry, Merry Christmas.........

Thank you Harris Family, we also received your care package.
Thanks, Jinny...... God Bless you........

Ericka and Nick Olivares,

Thank you so much for the care package. I can't say enough how
overwhelmed we are with all the contributions from kind people like you. As we are nearing the Holidays we have been pretty busy so please accept our sincere gratitude for these gifts. You will never know how much a package from home boosts our morale, even more so from unknown people.

Again, thank you. God bless and Merry Christmas.

P.S. - Please, please, please send us your email address so we can
communicate.

Susan and Rick,

Alright you guys this is more than anyone could expect. The cookies were great just, as always. Unfortunately the pizza only lasted all but 10 minutes. Honestly, we all enjoyed it. I personally enjoyed the sausage pizza. Your packaging technique was very effective. Our staff was really touched by all the effort you placed in your care package. For someone we have never met before you brought us a great sense of care. May God bless you and your family for your kindness. Merry Christmas

Kenneth and Tanya Borders,

Accept our thank you. We are from Camp Pendleton; we are a clinic sharing a facility with a trauma center. We stay pretty busy and we have been in disbelief by the amount of generosity we have received from caring people like yourselves. Unfortunately I cannot write each individual person so here are some responses to the students who wrote letters;

Travis - Thank you, I'm proud to be an American too. Help me and finish school.

Marquice- You're welcome. Please finish school, now that's being a hero.

McKenzie- My info is we are a Medical team that takes care of Marines and Soldiers.

Thanks again Sgt Borders, family, Charles Finch and Cousins Middle Schools and the Marine Corps League (Joseph Schmittou Detachment #1083 - Athens, Georgia).

04 Dec 2006

Thank you again for your kindness. As you can see from the picture we are providing the troops with some of your handmade gifts. This Marine said "thank you". I assure you that these care packages are being distributed to the "needy" and are well appreciated. I can't thank you enough for your generosity. I'll send more pictures soon. Thanks

Loyal Senders,

Here are a couple of pictures of some of the mail we are receiving. Tons of boxes for the holiday's everyday. A couple of us at medical helped out today with a couple of hours unloading mail. Many of the packages were from loyal Americans including some of your packages. We would all like to take time to thank you for your kindness.

Your blessings are our blessings......

Debra,

Can't begin to say how overwhelmed we were when your packages arrived and your generosity. The homemade blankets are an absolute piece of art. Since we are a medical facility with patients we will offer the blankets and most of the package to our needy Marines and Soldiers on the ward. I am being very honest with you when I say overwhelmed. I am a Houston
resident and your generosity does not surprise me but it still
overwhelmed us. I promise I will continue to keep in touch and take care of Marines and Soldiers. Thanks again and Happy belated Thanksgiving.........

To American Legion Women’s Auxiliary,

Thank you for the care package. We are a medical facility with patients. We have shared your gracious package with the patients on the ward. Your thoughtfulness was also echoed by the patients themselves. The pair of socks came in handy right away for one patient. Well thanks again and may God bless you all.

Thank you, Krista for your care package. The Christmas stuff was perfect. They will surely light up our work area. We have a small tree ordered and your Christmas socks will go perfect with our decorations. Thank you so much for thinking about us. God bless you and your family……….

Rick & Sue,

Thank you so much for your generosity…. Quite a variety of items you sent. All these items are well appreciated. It is nice to know that people like yourselves give as you do unconditionally. The weather is becoming pretty cold over here and the hot cocoa and cookies will help start our mornings. As the holidays near, may God bless all our families with the hope of world peace one day. By the way, my wife’s nephew is the running back for the Mt Union Purple Raiders in your state. Well thanks again, I will keep in touch.

P.S. I couldn’t wait until morning……The cookies are delicious…..

Hi Ms. Waters,

We just received your box and we want to thank you for your kindness. We are a medical team from Camp Pendleton serving with the Marines. We assist the medical officer in treating patients on a daily basis. We also assist with heavy trauma cases. It’s a nice change of pace to unwind in the evenings and receive mail. Personally I have never seen a more genuine reaction than to see someone receive a package out here. The package you sent had a little of everything and once again we thank you and the Twin Rivers Baptist Church for your kindness. God bless you………. From our medical staff in Iraq……….

IMPORTANT! DO NOT PRINT THIS PAGE!!!

Why? Because this list changes all the time due to unit movements, soldier transfers, or even soldier casualties.
It is also illegal. ALL content on this site is copyright Any Soldier Inc.
DO NOT send any letter or package to a soldier's address unless you check this web site the same day you mail your packages.
Please do not burden the soldiers or the APO/FPO by sending things when the soldiers are gone. If a soldier is not listed here anymore then that soldier's address is expired. Check here often!

Note that some of the units do not have ranks shown on their addresses.
This is done at the unit's request, but ALL of our contacts ARE Servicemembers.

Be sure to change the "ATTN" line to "ATTN: Any Female Sailor if your package is for a female!

DO NOT use this program if you expect or require a reply!
DO NOT expect, or require, a reply from a Sailor!
A supporter said it perfectly, "I mean, these guys and gals have other things on their minds, y’know? Like...oh, STAYING ALIVE?"

(NOTE *): Effective 1 May 2006 this web site added a major layer of security to our contacts' information. This change is necessary to protect our troops and ensure that Any Soldier will continue to operate.
The ONLY changes are that the addresses of our contacts are now hidden and the number of addresses you can get are limited. You may obtain addresses simply by clicking on the link provided and correctly filling out the form, the address will then be emailed to you immediately.

(NOTE **): The number shown is how many times a form was submitted requesting this address. This does NOT necessarily mean that this contact will be helped by that many folks. Rule of thumb is that anything 5 requests or less may in fact be no support at all. No way to tell exactly unless the contact lets you know in his/her update how much support they are getting.

(Note 1.): Note that postage to APO AE and FPO AE (E = Europe) is only to NY where the connection to the APO/FPO (APO = Army Post Office)(FPO = Fleet Post Office) is, or to San Francisco for APO AP and FPO AP (P = Pacific), so you don't pay postage all the way to Iraq/Afghanistan. You might consider picking contacts closer to your mailing area to help cut the cost of mailing. If you live on the East Coast, pick "AE", West Coast, pick "AP", Midwest, well...uh, Thank You for your Support! ;)

New with us (December 2005) you might notice "APO AA" and "FPO AA". This is for units in the Caribbean/South America. Normally. However, due to the nature of some units they may be in Iraq but have an address showing "FPO AA". Mail addresses to "AA" goes out of Miami, Florida.

(Note 2.): Why are military addresses weird? There isn't a street address or city. What gives? Correct, just about everything about the military is weird to civilians. Military units are very mobile, they move around a lot, often they even become part of another unit. The APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) assign APO and FPO numbers as needed, they are NOT static. An APO/FPO number may be for a large unit, or a location. An APO/FPO number for Baghdad today may be for Frankfurt tomorrow.

(Note 3.): The "Expect to not mail past" date is only an approximate and is one of the least reliable things on this web site. It is because of this that you must check often before you send anything to this unit. There are a few reasons this date is not reliable, to include: it IS the Military, we ARE dealing with the APO/FPO/DPO. The only thing that does not change in the military is that things will change. PLEASE NOTE that a Contact is dropped off our active list 30 days PRIOR to their date leaving to help avoid mail bouncing.

(Note 4.): (Removed for OPSEC reasons)

(Note 5.): The lines, "Contact with approx number of Soldiers:" and "Approx how may Female Soldiers:" have NOTHING to do with unit strength. They are approximately how many other Troops the Contacts believe they can get packages to. This helps you understand that you should not send 100 packages to someone who only deals with 10 Troops.
Don't forget that if your package is for a female Soldier, be sure to change "ATTN: Any Soldier®" to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier".

( Note 6.): This is simply where the unit this contact is from. This is NOT a true picture of the folks in the unit as most all units are made up of folks from all over the United States.) A "Composite Unit" is one made up of other units and is usually temporary for a particular mission.

( Note 7.): Updated APO/FPO/DPO mailing restrictions> courtesy of Oconus.com (gone now) (Note: About Restriction "U2": "U2 - Limited to First Class Letters", Box "R" is for retired personnel that live overseas and are still authorized an APO/FPO box. Their address will be something like Box 3345R. Doubt you will see anything like that in Afghanistan or Iraq or ...)(Please Note: Sometime in August 2013, Oconus.com changed the code on their page and our form doesn't work with them anymore, so a link to their page is the best we can do, sorry.)
