Hello all,

First I'd like to thank you for taking the time to support us Sailors! Some things we always love are healthy snacks such as jerky, trail mix, dried fruit, nuts, drink mixes and sugar-free gum. Also some toiletry items we can use are lotion, toothpaste, mouth wash, wet wipes, deodorant (male & female), foot powder, baby powder and for us ladies black Goodies Ouch less hair ties. Its getting colder here so any extra socks, gloves, beanies and blankets would be a great help. With the holiday fast approaching gift cards are best for those of you who would like to send us items that are a little more gift like. A few great places to send us gift cards from would be Brigade Quartermaster, Ranger Joe's, LA Police gear, also we're sort of gym rats so GNC & Bodybuilder.com would be great. Also blank note cards so we can write you back as well as family would a be awesome! Thank you for your support!

Hello,

Well not too much is new. We've been getting care packages bt mostly from folks who sent us stuff before. Any snacks are good, plus any microwavable foods (Ie: pasta or soup) are awesome since the chow hall isn't always tasty! Thank you for all your support!

Well we've been busy over here. With Navy & Army, and we are supposed to get in Air Force personnel. So its definitely going to be a joint effort over here! There have been letters and care packages coming in, but mostly from folks who had sent stuff before. Thanks to all you folks who have sent us stuff! We appreciate it! We all love snacks, like jerky, granola bars, fruit snacks, nuts, candy, Twinkies, cupcakes and trail mix. Also water gets a bit old so we love the drink mix singles, anything other than lemonade, we've got it coming out of our ears! My favorite is the Crystal Light Peach tea mix. Also flushable baby wipes & hand sanitizers are always handy to have around. We don't have a whole lot to do here in our down time besides go to the gym, read and watch movies. Thank you for your support!!

Hello AnySoldier.com

Well the past have been crazy to say the least. We've gotten a four more guys (Army) to help out. We've been getting letters and care packages, so thanks to all you folks who have sent us stuff! We appreciate it! We all love snacks, like jerky, granola bars, fruit snacks, nuts and trail mix. Also water gets a bit old so we love the drink mix singles, anything other than lemonade, we've got it coming out of our ears! There isn't too much to do here besides going to the gym, so we do a fair bit of reading. So any books from the Navy Reading List would be great! We're trying to build up a nice little library. www.navyreading.navy.mil Also we have to wear civilian clothes sometimes for our mission, but of course we don't get the civilian clothing allowance, so any 5.11 tactical gear/ clothing would be greatly appreciated. We need long sleeve shirts, polo's, and tactical/cargo pants. We have a mix of people so any size would fit someone. We're trying to outfit the junior folks first since they get paid less.
Thanks for all your support!

Well my address is correct & I/we've started receiving cards, letters & care packages. If you could update my info with the following I's apprecite it. Thanks! Also I attched an old photo and the webcam one is from here. I'll send more when I get a chance.

Very respectfully,
MA2 Erin K. Parr

If possible we could use those little single serve mixes for water. Water does get boring after a while. As for clothing we all need 5.11 tactical style clothing with shirts being dark navy blue or green and pants being khaki. The style of shirts(long sleeve) and pants are 5.11 TDU ripstop poly/cotton in sizes small to XL. All pant sizes are the same small to XL and regular length. Also it is warmer upo so there isn't a need for cold gear or hand warmers right now. Also for food we could use snacks like jerky, granola bars, hard candy and gum.

Hello my name is MA2 Erin Parr. I am currently IA to Afghanistan along with others. We are a mixed unit coming from duty stations all over the world. We just arrived here. We live four to a wooden hut. Right now it is pretty cold so items like hand warmers and foot warmers would be great. We are on 110 volt but don't have any cooking abilities. General snack foods are great, especially healthier ones, since most of us hit the gym up regularly. Also they are a few Hispanics in the group so Hispanic snacks and non-Tabasco hot sauce would greatly be appreciated. Also letters of support are always nice too! I personally an from Northern California, Santa Rosa to be exact. We also have a LA guy and two people from Washington state. We also have an Army brat who says he's from Penn. I'm not sure where the rest are originally from. We have a great group, we work hard so you stay safe in the States. Thank you for your support!

IMPORTANT! DO NOT PRINT THIS PAGE!!!

Why? Because this list changes all the time due to unit movements, soldier transfers, or even soldier casualties.
It is also illegal. ALL content on this site is copyright Any Soldier Inc.
DO NOT send any letter or package to a soldier's address unless you check this web site the same day you mail your packages.
Please do not burden the soldiers or the APO/FPO by sending things when the soldiers are gone. If a soldier is not listed here anymore then that soldier's address is expired. Check here often!

Note that some of the units do not have ranks shown on their addresses.
This is done at the unit's request, but ALL of our contacts ARE Servicemembers.

Be sure to change the "ATTN" line to "ATTN: Any Female Sailor if your package is for a female!

DO NOT use this program if you expect or require a reply!
DO NOT expect, or require, a reply from a Sailor!
A supporter said it perfectly, "I mean, these guys and gals have other things on their minds, y’know? Like...oh, STAYING ALIVE?"

(NOTE *): Effective 1 May 2006 this web site added a major layer of security to our contacts' information. This change is necessary to protect our troops and ensure that Any Soldier will continue to operate.
The ONLY changes are that the addresses of our contacts are now hidden and the number of addresses you can get are limited. You may obtain addresses simply by clicking on the link provided and correctly filling out the form, the address will then be emailed to you immediately.

(NOTE **): The number shown is how many times a form was submitted requesting this address. This does NOT necessarily mean that this contact will be helped by that many folks. Rule of thumb is that anything 5 requests or less may in fact be no support at all. No way to tell exactly unless the contact lets you know in his/her update how much support they are getting.

(Note 1.): Note that postage to APO AE and FPO AE (E = Europe) is only to NY where the connection to the APO/FPO (APO = Army Post Office)(FPO = Fleet Post Office) is, or to San Francisco for APO AP and FPO AP (P = Pacific), so you don't pay postage all the way to Iraq/Afghanistan. You might consider picking contacts closer to your mailing area to help cut the cost of mailing. If you live on the East Coast, pick "AE", West Coast, pick "AP", Midwest, well...uh, Thank You for your Support! ;)

New with us (December 2005) you might notice "APO AA" and "FPO AA". This is for units in the Caribbean/South America. Normally. However, due to the nature of some units they may be in Iraq but have an address showing "FPO AA". Mail addresses to "AA" goes out of Miami, Florida.

(Note 2.): Why are military addresses weird? There isn't a street address or city. What gives? Correct, just about everything about the military is weird to civilians. Military units are very mobile, they move around a lot, often they even become part of another unit. The APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) assign APO and FPO numbers as needed, they are NOT static. An APO/FPO number may be for a large unit, or a location. An APO/FPO number for Baghdad today may be for Frankfurt tomorrow.

(Note 3.): The "Expect to not mail past" date is only an approximate and is one of the least reliable things on this web site. It is because of this that you must check often before you send anything to this unit. There are a few reasons this date is not reliable, to include: it IS the Military, we ARE dealing with the APO/FPO/DPO. The only thing that does not change in the military is that things will change. PLEASE NOTE that a Contact is dropped off our active list 30 days PRIOR to their date leaving to help avoid mail bouncing.

(Note 4.): (Removed for OPSEC reasons)

(Note 5.): The lines, "Contact with approx number of Soldiers:" and "Approx how may Female Soldiers:" have NOTHING to do with unit strength. They are approximately how many other Troops the Contacts believe they can get packages to. This helps you understand that you should not send 100 packages to someone who only deals with 10 Troops.
Don't forget that if your package is for a female Soldier, be sure to change "ATTN: Any Soldier®" to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier".

( Note 6.): This is simply where the unit this contact is from. This is NOT a true picture of the folks in the unit as most all units are made up of folks from all over the United States.) A "Composite Unit" is one made up of other units and is usually temporary for a particular mission.

( Note 7.): Updated APO/FPO/DPO mailing restrictions> courtesy of Oconus.com (gone now) (Note: About Restriction "U2": "U2 - Limited to First Class Letters", Box "R" is for retired personnel that live overseas and are still authorized an APO/FPO box. Their address will be something like Box 3345R. Doubt you will see anything like that in Afghanistan or Iraq or ...)(Please Note: Sometime in August 2013, Oconus.com changed the code on their page and our form doesn't work with them anymore, so a link to their page is the best we can do, sorry.)
