16 Aug 2007:
We are wrapping up our deployment and wanted to thank everyone for all the support you have provided us. Emails, letters, and care package made our days much brighter and lifted our spirits.
God bless you all and thank you again,

Our unit is still here in Kuwait doing well despite the heat. We always appreciate the support and kindness you have shown us since we have been deployed. We will be here for another 2-3 months. We have enough toiletries to last until then. But could always use snacks such as beef jerkies, munchies such as chex mix (spicy type), flaming hot cheetos, trail mix, etc.
Thank you very much

Also, some hot (spicy) snacks and hard candies would be nice.

Hello,
Is it possible to get some beef jerky? My sailors and soldiers are craving for it.
Thank you,

Through the continuous generosity and support of people back in the States, we have all the essentials we need for now. However, small portable radios would be nice to have so we can listen to the news and music during our down time.
Thank you very much,

People have been very generous and supportive with the items listed on the webpage. Thus, we no longer need the following items:
1. Laundry detergents
2. Coffee mugs
3. Hair dryer (we don't have transformers that can accommodate 120v hair dryers)
4. Cleaning gears
Thank you very much,
CAPT Chung-Park

Our living conditions are below standard; old building and unkept need items to keep them livable such as Freshners/fragrances for the rooms and bathrooms (inadequate ventilations). Dusts are everywhere: need cleaning gears; rags/paper towers, sprays, sponges, hand brooms/brushes.
We sleep in the sleeping bags: linens (sheets), pillows, and towels would be nice to have.
Personal hygiene items are needed; shampoo, conditioners, body wash.
Hair dryers would be nice. We can use either 120 or 220.
music player with CDs would be nice. We don't have TV/radio in our living quarters. Latest movie are not available; new movie DVDs would be nice.
We have coffee maker but no coffee. We can get coffee from the galley, thus travel coffee mugs would come handy.
Sometimes we don't get to the galley on time and miss meals and tent to relie on snacks;
beef jerkies, nuts, pretzels, popcorns, trail mix....would be nice to have.
We have a microwave in our unit and have laundry services but people do their own laundry for personal items such as underwears, especially for females. Washing machines are available but we have to have laundry detergents.
I represent my unit as the Officer in Charge.
My unit consist of active duty sailors and soldiers deployed from various duty stations; conus and oconus.
