19 Dec 2007:

Merry Christmas Friends,

The holiday spirit is definitely here. We have our section decorated properly with all the fixin's. Also tons of sweets from home. Candy's, breads, cookies, fudge...you name it and its been here. In light of all that, I only ask for your prayers for those here that my be having a difficult time with the separation from family and friends. Also for our
preparation to return home shortly. Its been a challenge to stay focused on our daily mission, instead of day dream of home, but we are still winning this war.

Over this past year, you all have been so great! I'm very proud to serve here and very thankful for all of your support! Those that are coming out to replace us will need every bit of the love that you have given us, so please continue to tell others. Thank you again for all of the gifts, snacks, cards, letters, pictures, and other things that you have shared with me. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your family.

Remember those that are not with their family for one reason or another. Share the blessings that you have with those that don't. This year, bring someone into your home for Christmas, that would otherwise spend it alone. This is what Christmas is all about and Americans do it the best!

God bless you all,
Cory

Happy Holidays America!

The weather here is absolutely beautiful, even perfect at times. Soon the cold will be here and that means Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. All should help the time fly by, especially in our last leg of this deployment!!

All is well in my office, but my roommate and good friend Nick is going back early due to medical issues, I ask that you would pray for him to be healed quickly. This is more important to us than packages, although they are nice and well received. Keep up the support and fighting for our country in the war of a divided government of politics. We must endure here, for our America, Iraq/Afghanistan, and our World.

God Bless America and those that love her,

cory

Well if you have watched the news lately, you might have heard about our Commander in Chief stopping here. It was incredible. I actually had the honor to serve his staff and the Iraqi government officials. I was on the inside of the workings, since that is what I do here on this base. Many wonderful things took place here for America, Iraq, and the World. Air Force One was awesome. Keep us in prayer as well as our President and his staff.

God Bless America

Cory

Hello Again,

I have just returned from leave in North Carolina and Oklahoma and my new favorite color is officially GREEN. I was welcomed with several packages from you guys as I walked into our office. I will honestly say that we are out of storage space here to support all the support. I’m serious folks, you have been so generous and kind to send all the packages and letters and we are so grateful. I’ve never eaten this much trail mix and beef jerky in my life and I’m still not sick of it. In saying all this, I would like to place a non-request of the goods, at least for a while. Your letters and pictures are always welcome. I hope to keep you updated with pictures and such soon.

Thanks again friends,

God Bless America,

Doc

Hello All,

Thanks for all your continued support. Its really getting hot out here. I think it has reached 120 degrees last week. Life is good and not much to complain about, just missing home. The days have been long but productive. I hope all is well on the home front.

God Bless,

Cory

Hello again,

I have been very busy running all over. I have just returned from a 2 week training course that better equips me for working directly with the Iraqi Army and Security Forces. It is much hotter now than the last time I wrote, but will be getting much worse as the summer creeps in. I can't believe it is already May...what happened to April? I hope you are well and your spring has be promising and not ravaged by the late freezes I have heard about.

As far a request go, keep up the trail mix and jerky, please. Sweets are not a practical thing right now, but maybe just a little bit. One thing we do need is SOFFE or FotL(brands) Marine Corps green under t-shirts, mediums and larges. They can be best purchased from a marine corps base PX or Exchange. All though we have a large px here it is always out of shirts under XL sizes. If you are not able to get the definite color of green that we need, don't worry about it. This t-shirt is a part of our uniform so there is little room for different shades.

Your letters and landscape photos of where you are from are more than welcome. I will try to send a personal reply of gratitude to your every letter via email...

Keep praying and God bless,

Doc Clifton, Cory

Hello America,

I'm a Doc in the Navy playing in the Marine Corps. I was interested in recieving the standard things like wet wipes, jerky, trail mix. On the healthy side of life, we've gotten packages from home full of sweets, but all that sugar is not good for the belly, especially as it gets hot. Snacks high in protein and fiber for energy.
Also, I'm thinking about things like those wet socks you can where around your neck to keep cool.
Vitamin C chewables to keep around the office are a good way to fix a sweet tooth and receive nutrition.
We use Wet wipes for everything. From wiping down surfaces to cleaning up messes. None greasy hand lotion for dry desert skin. All natural lip balm, petoleum dries out lips in the end.
If your from a scenic part of the states you could include some pictures too.
thanks
God Bless America
Doc

IMPORTANT! DO NOT PRINT THIS PAGE!!!

Why? Because this list changes all the time due to unit movements, soldier transfers, or even soldier casualties.
It is also illegal. ALL content on this site is copyright Any Soldier Inc.
DO NOT send any letter or package to a soldier's address unless you check this web site the same day you mail your packages.
Please do not burden the soldiers or the APO/FPO by sending things when the soldiers are gone. If a soldier is not listed here anymore then that soldier's address is expired. Check here often!

Note that some of the units do not have ranks shown on their addresses.
This is done at the unit's request, but ALL of our contacts ARE Servicemembers.

Be sure to change the "ATTN" line to "ATTN: Any Female Sailor if your package is for a female!

DO NOT use this program if you expect or require a reply!
DO NOT expect, or require, a reply from a Sailor!
A supporter said it perfectly, "I mean, these guys and gals have other things on their minds, y’know? Like...oh, STAYING ALIVE?"

(NOTE *): Effective 1 May 2006 this web site added a major layer of security to our contacts' information. This change is necessary to protect our troops and ensure that Any Soldier will continue to operate.
The ONLY changes are that the addresses of our contacts are now hidden and the number of addresses you can get are limited. You may obtain addresses simply by clicking on the link provided and correctly filling out the form, the address will then be emailed to you immediately.

(NOTE **): The number shown is how many times a form was submitted requesting this address. This does NOT necessarily mean that this contact will be helped by that many folks. Rule of thumb is that anything 5 requests or less may in fact be no support at all. No way to tell exactly unless the contact lets you know in his/her update how much support they are getting.

(Note 1.): Note that postage to APO AE and FPO AE (E = Europe) is only to NY where the connection to the APO/FPO (APO = Army Post Office)(FPO = Fleet Post Office) is, or to San Francisco for APO AP and FPO AP (P = Pacific), so you don't pay postage all the way to Iraq/Afghanistan. You might consider picking contacts closer to your mailing area to help cut the cost of mailing. If you live on the East Coast, pick "AE", West Coast, pick "AP", Midwest, well...uh, Thank You for your Support! ;)

New with us (December 2005) you might notice "APO AA" and "FPO AA". This is for units in the Caribbean/South America. Normally. However, due to the nature of some units they may be in Iraq but have an address showing "FPO AA". Mail addresses to "AA" goes out of Miami, Florida.

(Note 2.): Why are military addresses weird? There isn't a street address or city. What gives? Correct, just about everything about the military is weird to civilians. Military units are very mobile, they move around a lot, often they even become part of another unit. The APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) assign APO and FPO numbers as needed, they are NOT static. An APO/FPO number may be for a large unit, or a location. An APO/FPO number for Baghdad today may be for Frankfurt tomorrow.

(Note 3.): The "Expect to not mail past" date is only an approximate and is one of the least reliable things on this web site. It is because of this that you must check often before you send anything to this unit. There are a few reasons this date is not reliable, to include: it IS the Military, we ARE dealing with the APO/FPO/DPO. The only thing that does not change in the military is that things will change. PLEASE NOTE that a Contact is dropped off our active list 30 days PRIOR to their date leaving to help avoid mail bouncing.

(Note 4.): (Removed for OPSEC reasons)

(Note 5.): The lines, "Contact with approx number of Soldiers:" and "Approx how may Female Soldiers:" have NOTHING to do with unit strength. They are approximately how many other Troops the Contacts believe they can get packages to. This helps you understand that you should not send 100 packages to someone who only deals with 10 Troops.
Don't forget that if your package is for a female Soldier, be sure to change "ATTN: Any Soldier®" to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier".

( Note 6.): This is simply where the unit this contact is from. This is NOT a true picture of the folks in the unit as most all units are made up of folks from all over the United States.) A "Composite Unit" is one made up of other units and is usually temporary for a particular mission.

( Note 7.): Updated APO/FPO/DPO mailing restrictions> courtesy of Oconus.com (gone now) (Note: About Restriction "U2": "U2 - Limited to First Class Letters", Box "R" is for retired personnel that live overseas and are still authorized an APO/FPO box. Their address will be something like Box 3345R. Doubt you will see anything like that in Afghanistan or Iraq or ...)(Please Note: Sometime in August 2013, Oconus.com changed the code on their page and our form doesn't work with them anymore, so a link to their page is the best we can do, sorry.)
