29 Nov 2007:
Hola all, I hope everyone is doing great! The weather is starting to cool down here; it gets down to the low 40’s at night. This is a welcome relief from this summer. I want to thank everyone for all their support and we are looking to coming home early next year. Talk to you all soon, Brian
09 Oct 2007 Hola everyone, I apologize for the delay between updates. It has been a busy several months and the time is flying by. We are all going great and we can see the light, it is still a ways off but we can see it now. The weather is cooling down a bit and it is becoming more bearable to go outside. I want to thank everyone for the care packages and letters. We really appreciate everything we get and cannot wait to come home to return the favor to some of the troops who will still be here. Talk to you all soon, Brian
20 Aug 2007 Hello, Another update on us, Holy cow is it hot!! I was walking by the smoke deck the other day and the devil was there eating an icy pop. Even he looked miserable. I can tell you, the gummy candy I love so much does not like the heat very much. The last pack of gummy bears I got looked like a gummy mud puddle, We ate them anyways. Everyone has been coming and going on R&R leave, most of us are back now and we are down to around 173 days left. Again I want to thank everyone for all the support and everything that has been sent. The freezer in our shop is stacked to the top with freezer pops. Hoping to hear from you all soon and we all cannot wait until we get back to the USA for a HUGE steak and an ice cold beer, err…. I mean sweet tea. Respectfully, Brian
10 Jul 2007 Hello everyone, I am sending a quick update. We would like to thank everyone for the packages, letters and cards. All the support is really unbelievable, all the items that everyone sends to a group of total strangers. We are about 6 months into our deployment and are starting to get a chance for some R&R leave. It is a nice break, traveling home in uniform is a little different. People everywhere want to talk and tell us how much they support us. It is a little humbling sometimes. For the people who see us and want to say something, I can tell you from experience that it is good to hear and we appreciate it. It is truly an honor to serve our country, but what makes it really worthwhile is serving the people, the families that make this country great. I apologize for the short update but I have to get going. Thank you again for everything and we are slowly whittling away at the stack of letters that we have yet to reply to. Hope to hear from you soon and God bless, HM1(FMF) Brian R. Belk
05 Jun 2007 Hola, Another update, we are almost half way done. We have received quite a bit of support and really appreciate it. I have gotten requests to ask for food items. Snack food, jerky, nuts, ect… Have to run, just a little busy today. Thanks again and we look forward to hearing from everyone. HM1 Respectfully, HM1(FMF) Brian R. Belk
16 May 2007 Hey everyone, I just wanted to update you all; I want to thank everyone who has sent us packages. We really appreciate all the support and prayers that has been given and said. The weather is starting to get hot and we have a refrigerator at work; we would really love some of those popsicles called otter pops, if I remember correctly. I am working on some pictures of the people here so you can see us; hopefully I will have those soon. Woohoo only 35 1/2 weeks to go!! Thanks again, HM1 Belk (Brian)
04 May 2007 We are part of 2d MLG from Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. I am representing my section and some of the other people we work with. We have it fairly good; we live in buildings, have 220 generators and 110 converters. We only have microwaves to cook and limited access to bbq grills. We would like healthy snacks, green, black and white tea's. The usual bathroom stuff, tooth paste/brushes, Body wash, loofa's, speed stick deoderant, Shampoo (could use some "fofoo" stuff for the ladies) Green t-shirts, SM, MED, LG. Green/black socks. Beef Jerky, I am trying to think of specific stuff but anything we get we are greatful for.

IMPORTANT! DO NOT PRINT THIS PAGE!!!
Why? Because this list changes all the time due to unit movements, soldier transfers, or even soldier casualties.
It is also illegal. ALL content on this site is copyright Any Soldier Inc.
DO NOT send any letter or package to a soldier's address unless you check this web site the same day you mail your packages.
Please do not burden the soldiers or the APO/FPO by sending things when the soldiers are gone. If a soldier is not listed here anymore then that soldier's address is expired. Check here often!
Note that some of the units do not have ranks shown on their addresses.
This is done at the unit's request, but ALL of our contacts ARE Servicemembers.
Be sure to change the "ATTN" line to "ATTN: Any Female Sailor
if your package is for a female!
DO NOT use this program if you expect or require a reply!
DO NOT expect, or require, a reply from a Sailor!
A supporter said it perfectly, "I mean, these guys and gals have other things on their minds, y’know? Like...oh, STAYING ALIVE?"
(NOTE *): Effective 1 May 2006 this web site added a major layer of security to our contacts' information. This change is necessary to protect our troops and ensure that Any Soldier will continue to operate.
The ONLY changes are that the addresses of our contacts are now hidden and the number of addresses you can get are limited. You may obtain addresses simply by clicking on the link provided and correctly filling out the form, the address will then be emailed to you immediately.
(NOTE **): The number shown is how many times a form was submitted requesting this address. This does NOT necessarily mean that this contact will be helped by that many folks. Rule of thumb is that anything 5 requests or less may in fact be no support at all. No way to tell exactly unless the contact lets you know in his/her update how much support they are getting.
(Note 1.): Note that postage to APO AE and FPO AE (E = Europe) is only to NY where the connection to the APO/FPO (APO = Army Post Office)(FPO = Fleet Post Office) is, or to San Francisco for APO AP and FPO AP (P = Pacific), so you don't pay postage all the way to Iraq/Afghanistan.
You might consider picking contacts closer to your mailing area to help cut the cost of mailing. If you live on the East Coast, pick "AE", West Coast, pick "AP", Midwest, well...uh, Thank You for your Support! ;)
New with us (December 2005) you might notice "APO AA" and "FPO AA". This is for units in the Caribbean/South America. Normally. However, due to the nature of some units they may be in Iraq but have an address showing "FPO AA". Mail addresses to "AA" goes out of Miami, Florida.
(Note 2.): Why are military addresses weird? There isn't a street address or city. What gives? Correct, just about everything about the military is weird to civilians. Military units are very mobile, they move around a lot, often they even become part of another unit. The APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) assign APO and FPO numbers as needed, they are NOT static. An APO/FPO number may be for a large unit, or a location. An APO/FPO number for Baghdad today may be for Frankfurt tomorrow.
(Note 3.): The "Expect to not mail past" date is only an approximate and is one of the least reliable things on this web site. It is because of this that you must check often before you send anything to this unit. There are a few reasons this date is not reliable, to include: it IS the Military, we ARE dealing with the APO/FPO/DPO. The only thing that does not change in the military is that things will change. PLEASE NOTE that a Contact is dropped off our active list 30 days PRIOR to their date leaving to help avoid mail bouncing.
(Note 4.): (Removed for OPSEC reasons)
(Note 5.): The lines, "Contact with approx number of Soldiers:" and "Approx how may Female Soldiers:" have NOTHING to do with unit strength. They are approximately how many other Troops the Contacts believe they can get packages to. This helps you understand that you should not send 100 packages to someone who only deals with 10 Troops.
Don't forget that if your package is for a female Soldier, be sure to change "ATTN: Any Soldier®" to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier".
(
Note 6.): This is simply where the unit this contact is from. This is NOT a true picture of the folks in the unit as most all units are made up of folks from all over the United States.) A "Composite Unit" is one made up of other units and is usually temporary for a particular mission.
(
Note 7.): Updated APO/FPO/DPO mailing restrictions> courtesy of Oconus.com (gone now)
(Note: About Restriction "U2": "U2 - Limited to First Class Letters", Box "R" is for retired personnel that live overseas and are still authorized an APO/FPO box. Their address will be something like Box 3345R. Doubt you will see anything like that in Afghanistan or Iraq or ...)(Please Note: Sometime in August 2013, Oconus.com changed the code on their page and our form doesn't work with them anymore, so a link to their page is the best we can do, sorry.)
