21 May 2010:
Kill Devil Hills Police Department c/o Sarah B. McDowell ,
Thank you very much for the package you sent us. Our group were excited and enjoyed the things you all sent us. Please try to include us also in your daily prayers as we are doing for most of the people who are doing their dangerous jobs everyday. Things are getting smooth here after a while. I guess you adjust to the way you are living for the time being. It is getting hot here and we need to hydrate ourselves more often. Again, we thank all of you for the care package. Please be safe out there in doing your job as Law Enforecment Officers. Take care..

Mark Wilson,
Thank you for the big package you sent us. Happy Birthday to you too! We are from CTAG-P. I learned that you were here before with CJ4 CSTC-A during 07-08 and told the guys here and they are saying a big "thank you". We all enjoyed the stuff you all sent us. It was like Santa came to town and gave us all gifts. God bless you and may you have more birthdays to came. Take care...

Respectfully,
MA1 Fernandez

Frances O'Connell,
Thank you again for the second box you sent us. The ice pops was really like by the group in preparation for the summer. I am feeling better now. Thanks for the medecines you gave us. The group were happy about the boxes coming in from all the people from the United States like you. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you again and God bless you always...

Jennifer Felicelli,
Thank you for the wonderful encouragement and support you are giving us. Don't worry about us here, we take good care of ourselves. Sometimes it gets lonely here and we just crack jokes about funny things back home. Just pray for our safe return to our families. God bless you and take care....

Respectfully,
MA1 Fernandez

LCPL Marc and Vanessa Henley (Memphis, TN),
Thank you very much for the package you sent us. The group was excited about it and we shared the goodies. It's getting a little bit warm here in Afghanistan. We always drive around here and hopefully nothing serious incident happens. So far we are safe and continuosly saying our little prayer. We will also include Kevin Gallagher in our prayers. We appreciate the things you and your husband are doing for us here. There's a lot of marines coming to support us here. Rest assured we will do our best to safeguard the interest of the United States. Extend our regards to your husband. God bless both of you ...

Respectfully,
MA1 Fernandez (USN)

Frances O Connell,
Thank you very much for the package you gave us. It was very nice of you. So you and your son live there at Seal beach. Most of my shipmates went there for thier next duty station after White beach in Okinawa, Japan. Good to hear that your husband was in an aircraft carrier because I myself was from the "BIG JOHN" the USS John F. Kennedy from 1997 to 2001. It was also de-commissioned at 2008. The USS Dewey pictures were nice. Well, we thank you again for the things you sent us, God bless you and your family. Take care...

Respectfully,
MA1 Fernandez

To whom it may concern:
I would like to ask if it is possible to ask from the sponsor extreme outfitters a watch for a sailor. The sailor needs a new one since the old one is not working. Would it be possible to get the Core Light Green ABC watch? Thank you for your support and God bless you and your families.

Respectfully,
MA1 Fernandez, Steve

God bless you and to those people who are kind and have time to help us out here. We are doing fine here except for some of the living conditions we are not use to. We need some Air freshners to cover the smell of stinky feet in the barracks from working 12 hours a day. It is good also if we would get some cup noodles to eat, sometimes they run out at the exchange. If we could get some cold and allergy medecines, will be much appreciated. A lot of soldiers here are sneezing and have colds.(me included) We work everyday here and get a late start twice a week. We get letters and packages sometimes and call our love ones and once that happens, we get a taste of heaven here at our place. Anything that we receive feels like we just got rejuvenated from feeling like we are left out here. So from deep in our hearts, we would like to thank you for giving us time to take care of us. Anything that you will give us will make us feel happy and thought of will be greatly appreciated. God bless you and your families...

IMPORTANT! DO NOT PRINT THIS PAGE!!!

Why? Because this list changes all the time due to unit movements, soldier transfers, or even soldier casualties.
It is also illegal. ALL content on this site is copyright Any Soldier Inc.
DO NOT send any letter or package to a soldier's address unless you check this web site the same day you mail your packages.
Please do not burden the soldiers or the APO/FPO by sending things when the soldiers are gone. If a soldier is not listed here anymore then that soldier's address is expired. Check here often!

Note that some of the units do not have ranks shown on their addresses.
This is done at the unit's request, but ALL of our contacts ARE Servicemembers.

Be sure to change the "ATTN" line to "ATTN: Any Female Sailor if your package is for a female!

DO NOT use this program if you expect or require a reply!
DO NOT expect, or require, a reply from a Sailor!
A supporter said it perfectly, "I mean, these guys and gals have other things on their minds, y’know? Like...oh, STAYING ALIVE?"

(NOTE *): Effective 1 May 2006 this web site added a major layer of security to our contacts' information. This change is necessary to protect our troops and ensure that Any Soldier will continue to operate.
The ONLY changes are that the addresses of our contacts are now hidden and the number of addresses you can get are limited. You may obtain addresses simply by clicking on the link provided and correctly filling out the form, the address will then be emailed to you immediately.

(NOTE **): The number shown is how many times a form was submitted requesting this address. This does NOT necessarily mean that this contact will be helped by that many folks. Rule of thumb is that anything 5 requests or less may in fact be no support at all. No way to tell exactly unless the contact lets you know in his/her update how much support they are getting.

(Note 1.): Note that postage to APO AE and FPO AE (E = Europe) is only to NY where the connection to the APO/FPO (APO = Army Post Office)(FPO = Fleet Post Office) is, or to San Francisco for APO AP and FPO AP (P = Pacific), so you don't pay postage all the way to Iraq/Afghanistan. You might consider picking contacts closer to your mailing area to help cut the cost of mailing. If you live on the East Coast, pick "AE", West Coast, pick "AP", Midwest, well...uh, Thank You for your Support! ;)

New with us (December 2005) you might notice "APO AA" and "FPO AA". This is for units in the Caribbean/South America. Normally. However, due to the nature of some units they may be in Iraq but have an address showing "FPO AA". Mail addresses to "AA" goes out of Miami, Florida.

(Note 2.): Why are military addresses weird? There isn't a street address or city. What gives? Correct, just about everything about the military is weird to civilians. Military units are very mobile, they move around a lot, often they even become part of another unit. The APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) assign APO and FPO numbers as needed, they are NOT static. An APO/FPO number may be for a large unit, or a location. An APO/FPO number for Baghdad today may be for Frankfurt tomorrow.

(Note 3.): The "Expect to not mail past" date is only an approximate and is one of the least reliable things on this web site. It is because of this that you must check often before you send anything to this unit. There are a few reasons this date is not reliable, to include: it IS the Military, we ARE dealing with the APO/FPO/DPO. The only thing that does not change in the military is that things will change. PLEASE NOTE that a Contact is dropped off our active list 30 days PRIOR to their date leaving to help avoid mail bouncing.

(Note 4.): (Removed for OPSEC reasons)

(Note 5.): The lines, "Contact with approx number of Soldiers:" and "Approx how may Female Soldiers:" have NOTHING to do with unit strength. They are approximately how many other Troops the Contacts believe they can get packages to. This helps you understand that you should not send 100 packages to someone who only deals with 10 Troops.
Don't forget that if your package is for a female Soldier, be sure to change "ATTN: Any Soldier®" to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier".

( Note 6.): This is simply where the unit this contact is from. This is NOT a true picture of the folks in the unit as most all units are made up of folks from all over the United States.) A "Composite Unit" is one made up of other units and is usually temporary for a particular mission.

( Note 7.): Updated APO/FPO/DPO mailing restrictions> courtesy of Oconus.com (gone now) (Note: About Restriction "U2": "U2 - Limited to First Class Letters", Box "R" is for retired personnel that live overseas and are still authorized an APO/FPO box. Their address will be something like Box 3345R. Doubt you will see anything like that in Afghanistan or Iraq or ...)(Please Note: Sometime in August 2013, Oconus.com changed the code on their page and our form doesn't work with them anymore, so a link to their page is the best we can do, sorry.)
