22 Jan 2013:
Happy New Year!!! I can't begin to tell everyone THANK YOU! There are too many people to mention to say thank you to. It will fill up my whole page. The thoughts, prayers and care that were put into every care package were amazing. Than you all so very much! We are on the down hill slope of being home and the Sailors really like the snack stuff: jerky, crackers, microwave popcorn, candy and such. They really like cup of noodles, microwave Mac and cheese and anything that can be
cooked in the microwave. Again thank you for all your thoughts, prayers and care.
It means more than you will ever know.

I can not begin to say enough thank you's for the thoughts and constant consideration we have received. The crew on board is so thankful and they anxiously wait for mail call just to see if we have received anything. A lot of them are asking for ships, candy, shampoo/condition (male and female), deodorant, body wash (male and female). THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH AND PLEASE CONTINUE TO THINK OF US DURING THIS SEASON!

Thanks for the support.

The USS John C. Stennis CVN 74 has been deployed for over two months now and the packages we have received have been such a welcome. The Sailors faces light up when I hand them a package especially if they haven’t received a package from home yet. Thank you all for everything! Here is a list of things the Sailors really like. Assortment of nuts, any type of hygiene products, Pringles, Keurig coffee, Tide Pods, jerky, microwave popcorn, gum, magazines, movies, dryer sheets, socks, and lots of care!

Thank you all so very much and God Bless!!!

Hello Everyone! We have been underway for a while now and mail has been slow. If you have sent something out this way I am sure we will be receiving it any day now. We appreciate all your thoughts and care and prayers. Please keep us in mind during the holidays. The Sailors get excited over things like Keurig single cup coffee, water bottles, Tide Laundry pods, hot tamales (candy), foot powder, and like I said before,
thoughts and prayers.

Thanks again for everything!

Thank you so much everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. The care packages are a God send and it is AWESOME to see the Sailors face light up when I hand them a package to open. Where we are going is hot so please don't send chocolate that could melt in transit to us and unfortunately I can not disclose that location.
Please continue to send things like crystal light single packs and drink mixes of that nature.
Crest toothpaste, toothbrushes, Tide pods, Pringles, sun flower seeds, jolly ranchers, magazines, and DVDs. Again I cannot thank you enough for the thoughts and prayers you all have put in the care packages. It means more than you know!!!!

09 Jul 2012
Well, here we are again this year. Our ship returned earlier this year from a long cruise and now we are getting ready to deploy again soon. We wanted to make sure our Sailors were taken care of. On our last cruise the Sailors were so very thankful for the thoughtfulness and caring that were in each package. We will be deployed again over the major holidays and of course the biggest football game of the year. Many are not happy about leaving their families and loved ones again, but they understand what needs to be done. Our Sailors are all different age groups and leaving our loved ones is always hard, no matter the age. The crew has grown enormously and as you can see we have more males than females. The Sailors enjoy, granola bars, microwave popcorn, licorice, chips of any kind, sunflower seeds, any type of singles packs for water, tootsie rolls, hard candy, Starbucks singles packs, and love! Hygiene products are always appreciated; men and women's deodorant, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, female products of any type, razors for men and women, toothpaste, mouth wash, magazines, DVD's and little notes from our biggest fans...YOU ALL!! Thank you for all you do and for taking time out of your busy schedule to think of and support these Sailors. They couldn't do it without your kindness.

IMPORTANT! DO NOT PRINT THIS PAGE!!!

Why? Because this list changes all the time due to unit movements, soldier transfers, or even soldier casualties.
It is also illegal. ALL content on this site is copyright Any Soldier Inc.
DO NOT send any letter or package to a soldier's address unless you check this web site the same day you mail your packages.
Please do not burden the soldiers or the APO/FPO by sending things when the soldiers are gone. If a soldier is not listed here anymore then that soldier's address is expired. Check here often!

Note that some of the units do not have ranks shown on their addresses.
This is done at the unit's request, but ALL of our contacts ARE Servicemembers.

Be sure to change the "ATTN" line to "ATTN: Any Female Sailor if your package is for a female!

DO NOT use this program if you expect or require a reply!
DO NOT expect, or require, a reply from a Sailor!
A supporter said it perfectly, "I mean, these guys and gals have other things on their minds, y’know? Like...oh, STAYING ALIVE?"

(NOTE *): Effective 1 May 2006 this web site added a major layer of security to our contacts' information. This change is necessary to protect our troops and ensure that Any Soldier will continue to operate.
The ONLY changes are that the addresses of our contacts are now hidden and the number of addresses you can get are limited. You may obtain addresses simply by clicking on the link provided and correctly filling out the form, the address will then be emailed to you immediately.

(NOTE **): The number shown is how many times a form was submitted requesting this address. This does NOT necessarily mean that this contact will be helped by that many folks. Rule of thumb is that anything 5 requests or less may in fact be no support at all. No way to tell exactly unless the contact lets you know in his/her update how much support they are getting.

(Note 1.): Note that postage to APO AE and FPO AE (E = Europe) is only to NY where the connection to the APO/FPO (APO = Army Post Office)(FPO = Fleet Post Office) is, or to San Francisco for APO AP and FPO AP (P = Pacific), so you don't pay postage all the way to Iraq/Afghanistan. You might consider picking contacts closer to your mailing area to help cut the cost of mailing. If you live on the East Coast, pick "AE", West Coast, pick "AP", Midwest, well...uh, Thank You for your Support! ;)

New with us (December 2005) you might notice "APO AA" and "FPO AA". This is for units in the Caribbean/South America. Normally. However, due to the nature of some units they may be in Iraq but have an address showing "FPO AA". Mail addresses to "AA" goes out of Miami, Florida.

(Note 2.): Why are military addresses weird? There isn't a street address or city. What gives? Correct, just about everything about the military is weird to civilians. Military units are very mobile, they move around a lot, often they even become part of another unit. The APO (Army Post Office) and FPO (Fleet Post Office) assign APO and FPO numbers as needed, they are NOT static. An APO/FPO number may be for a large unit, or a location. An APO/FPO number for Baghdad today may be for Frankfurt tomorrow.

(Note 3.): The "Expect to not mail past" date is only an approximate and is one of the least reliable things on this web site. It is because of this that you must check often before you send anything to this unit. There are a few reasons this date is not reliable, to include: it IS the Military, we ARE dealing with the APO/FPO/DPO. The only thing that does not change in the military is that things will change. PLEASE NOTE that a Contact is dropped off our active list 30 days PRIOR to their date leaving to help avoid mail bouncing.

(Note 4.): (Removed for OPSEC reasons)

(Note 5.): The lines, "Contact with approx number of Soldiers:" and "Approx how may Female Soldiers:" have NOTHING to do with unit strength. They are approximately how many other Troops the Contacts believe they can get packages to. This helps you understand that you should not send 100 packages to someone who only deals with 10 Troops.
Don't forget that if your package is for a female Soldier, be sure to change "ATTN: Any Soldier®" to "ATTN: Any Female Soldier".

( Note 6.): This is simply where the unit this contact is from. This is NOT a true picture of the folks in the unit as most all units are made up of folks from all over the United States.) A "Composite Unit" is one made up of other units and is usually temporary for a particular mission.

( Note 7.): Updated APO/FPO/DPO mailing restrictions> courtesy of Oconus.com (gone now) (Note: About Restriction "U2": "U2 - Limited to First Class Letters", Box "R" is for retired personnel that live overseas and are still authorized an APO/FPO box. Their address will be something like Box 3345R. Doubt you will see anything like that in Afghanistan or Iraq or ...)(Please Note: Sometime in August 2013, Oconus.com changed the code on their page and our form doesn't work with them anymore, so a link to their page is the best we can do, sorry.)
